19k yellow gold, custom sterling silver, 75/24/1 silver- copper-zinc, and hepatizon, tourmaline from Afghanistan accented by AA emeralds, VS1G diamonds, AA rubies and AA alexandrite, black diamonds through the back
From ancient recipes to modern day mixes, Corin was hand-forged and fabricated from 5 custom alloys. 19k yellow gold, custom sterling silver, 75/24/1 silver-copper-zinc, and two variations of hepatizon. Hepatizon is an ancient mix with no exact recipe, only various old text written about it. It is thought to have 3 different color variations and produce a deep purple color when patinated.
The main stone in Corin is an extremely gemmy tourmaline crystal from Afghanistan accented by AA emeralds, VS1 G diamonds, AA rubies and AA alexandrite (the backside features black diamonds pavé set in one of my hepatizon mixes.
Corin was not carved and cast, however it did start out as a pile of molten metal (5 piles to be exact). Each alloy was then hand fabricated and pieced together like a jigsaw puzzle, welding the old world with the new.
This pendant is now available.
